The Planning Division provides professional guidance to the administration in matters related to the physical development of the city. The Division provides a coordinating function by pulling together a number of diverse disciplines including transportation, housing, recreation, utilities, and education.
The Division also provides staffing to both the Planning Board and Zoning Board of Adjustment. It handles all administrative duties and reviews all site plan and subdivision applications submitted to the city, irrespective of which board has jurisdiction.
