In order to do business with the City of Vineland, vendors must follow these simple guidelines:

• Per New Jersey Local Public Contracts Law N.J.S.A. 40A:11-1, it is a state mandated law for all vendors to have a New Jersey Business Registration Certificate on file when doing business with any municipality in the state of New Jersey.

• Vendors are encouraged to call for an appointment with the Purchasing Agent before attempting to contact other departments. If appropriate, the Purchasing office will arrange contacts with other departments.

• Appointments may be arranged by contacting the Purchasing Office at 856-794-4040, Monday through Friday from 9:00 am to 4:00 pm.

NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING

CITY OF VINELAND
NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD CONTRACT UNDER A NATIONAL COOPERATIVE PURCHASING AGREEMENT

The City of Vineland, NJ intends to participate in the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) contract, now known as Sourcewell, to purchase the following items:

Carrier 50XC Cooling Unit, Contract #030817-CAR,
HVAC & Refrigeration Systems

Information regarding this contract may be found at the City of Vineland, NJ, 640 E. Wood Street, City Hall – 5th Floor, Purchasing Office, Monday through Friday except legal holidays, from 8:30 am to 4:30 pm as well as through the City website www.vinelandcity.org The City of Vineland adopted Resolution 2014-276 on July 8, 2014 to join the National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA). The contract terms as established by National Joint Powers Alliance (NJPA) shall apply.

It is the intent of the Purchasing Division of the City of Vineland, NJ to make a contract award to Carrier Corporation, pursuant to the proposal submitted in response to the National Joint Powers Alliance, RFP #030817.

The City of Vineland is permitted to join national cooperative purchasing agreements under the authority of N.J.S.A. 52:34-6.2(b)(3)
