The Department of Finance is responsible for all financial and reporting functions of the City of Vineland according to generally accepted accounting principles and in accordance with the requirements of the Director of the Division of Local Government Services. Click here for City of Vineland financial information.

The functions of the Finance Office include:

  • Budget Controls
  • Cash Management
  • Debt Management
  • Grant Management
  • Internal Controls
  • Operating and Capital Budgets
  • Payment of all Bills, Claims, and Demands
  • Payroll
  • Property Assessment
  • Tax and Revenue Collection

The Department of Finance includes three divisions, Purchasing, the Tax Assessor and the Tax Collector.
