The Vineland Health Department will be holding a FREE drive-thru rabies vaccination clinic for dogs and cats at Cunningham Park located at 1676 N. West Avenue. An optional pre-registration is available to help streamline the check-in process: https://forms.office.com/g/YbCxMYDpB7this. This form will close on Friday, November 6th at 10:00am. Pre-registration is not required, and does not guarantee an appointment time. While pre-registration is available to help make check in easier, the clinic will remain first-come, first-served. The public is invited to help commemorate the Discovery of Puerto Rico in 1493, and the contributions of Vineland’s Puerto Rican community which has been integral part of the city’s cultural, economic, and civic life for generations. The celebration will be co-hosted by Nadia Albizu, Founder & CEO, and Dr. Wanda Albizu, Educational Director, of the nonprofit organization Dream Builders of NJ. There will be presentations about Puerto Rican history and culture, dancing, opportunities to share and learn more about the island’s vibrant traditions, and entertainment by, Joe Rivera Peñalvert, Aileen Seda, and Luis Figueroa. The City of Vineland and the Vineland United Veterans Council (UVC) proudly invite you to join us for our Annual Veterans Day Ceremony, a special occasion dedicated to honoring the brave men and women who have served our great nation. This year’s ceremony will mark a historic milestone for our community with the unveiling of the War on Terror Memorial Monument, a lasting tribute to the men and women who served during the War on Terror and a solemn reminder of the sacrifices made in defense of our nation’s freedom. In the event of inclement weather, the ceremony will be held indoors at City Hall. The unveiling of the War on Terror Memorial Monument will be presented on a large screen in the Council Chambers.
