WATER MAIN CLEANSING PROGRAM – SPRING 2026

City water main and fire hydrant maintenance is scheduled to begin Monday, April 6, 2026, from 8 PM to 12 AM, Monday through Thursday, and is expected to conclude on or about Friday, May 22, 2026.

Hydrant flushing may discharge sediment, causing brief periods of “rusty” or discolored water. This temporary cold water discoloration is normal during cleaning and maintenance. If it occurs, run an outside spigot until the water clears; if unavailable, run COLD WATER ONLY through a bathtub or shower.  The Water Utility performs regular system flushing to maintain and improve water quality and collects samples during the process to measure effectiveness and ensure compliance with State and Federal Drinking Water Regulations.

We thank you for your patience during this period.  For questions or concerns, contact the Water Utility Service Division at (856) 794-4056, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM–4:00 PM.
