Adopt-A-Park Program

Clean Communities

Policy & Agreement

How Does It work?

Groups may adopt a City Park or a section of a City Spot such as a Mini Park or other specific area in the City after signing an agreement with the City of Vineland Clean Communities Program (CVCCP).

The agreement states that:

·        The group must do a clean up at least four times a year

·        The group must designate a leader who ensures that safety is a priority, e.g. that everyone follows safety guidelines of the program (see attached guidelines).

·        The group must keep all recyclable items collected, such as bottles &  cans separate from the trash

·        The group must hand in a Clean-up Activity Report for each clean up completed

A separate Adopt-A-Park/Spot agreement is available for groups that wish to landscape or clean-up.  They may for example, clean-up i.e., pick up litter and/or plant and maintain wild-flower or ornamental beds.

CVCCP will erect a sign on this section that identifies the program and the organization.  In addition, The CVCCP will promote public awareness through the media and other communication devices.
