The Vineland Recreation Commission consists of seven (7) members appointed by the Mayor with the advice and consent of City Council.
The Recreation Commission, with the approval of the Mayor and City Council, may acquire lands for public playgrounds and places of recreation, by gift or purchase, including designating approaches to and from the location; and suitably equipping the location with buildings and other structures, stands, seats, or apparatus as appropriate.
It is the responsibility of the Recreation Commission to adopt suitable rules, regulations, and bylaws for the use of all lands for public playgrounds and places of recreation acquired or leased within the City of Vineland.
The Recreation Commission meets on the first Monday of the month, unless otherwise indicated, in the City Council Caucus Room, 640 E. Wood Street, Vineland, NJ 08360. The meeting begins at 7:00 pm.
Term: Five (5) years.
