Perry D. Barse began his second term as Mayor of Vineland on July 1, 2004. Prior to his election as Mayor, he served four years as a Vineland City Councilman. He is a Certified Public Accountant and a partner in the accounting firm of Barse & Fabrico, CPAs P.A. of Vineland. Perry has been a leader in youth recreation in Vineland for over 35 years, starting as a Volunteer Basketball Coach in 1969. In 1986, Perry Barse founded the Vineland Basketball Association, which has today grown to include some 1000 participants per year. |

Perry is a charter member of the Vineland-Millville Urban Enterprise Zone Board of Directors, as well as the Empowerment Zone Board of Cumberland County. He is a charter member of the Vineland UEZ 2nd Generation Loan Committee. Perry also served nine years as a commissioner of the Landis Sewerage Authority, including four years as the authoritys Chairman. He was a member of the Vineland Jaycees from 1977 through 1987 and following his term as President of that organization, was awarded the Outstanding Chapter President award by the New Jersey Jaycees. |

Perry Barse is a member of the New Jersey Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs. He is a graduate of Sacred Heart High School in Vineland, and the University of Scranton, Scranton, PA. Perry and his wife Kathleen reside in Vineland with their daughter Kristin and son Perry Jr. |
