License Division

The License division of the Department of Licenses & Inspections is located on the second floor of City Hall West Wing at 640 E. Wood Street (n/w corner of Seventh and Wood Streets).

Special Caution:  The issuance of a Business License is not necessarily the only permit, license, certificate and entitlement for use required by the city’s ordinance and other laws.  For example, you may be required to obtain a building permit, certificate of occupancy or zoning permit.  You are responsible for ensuring that all necessary permits, licenses, certificates and entitlements have been obtained. 

Applications for licenses may be obtained at the Department of Licenses and Inspections or you may download the individual forms that you need.  You will need to have Adobe Acrobat Reader on your computer in order to view the license forms.
