The City of Vineland Recreation Department was adopted by Vineland City Council on August 26, 1952.

The Recreation Department is resolved to enhance and cultivate recreational activities within the City of Vineland. The Department continuously reviews the management and maintenance of our indoor and outdoor facilities for safety and use. This Department's stated policy is that the "use" of our recreational facilities is open to the public. No one individual or group will control the "use" of any facility in the City of Vineland.

It is the user's responsibility to maintain proper conduct and to keep the park and field areas free from trash and debris for the future enjoyment of others. The City of Vineland Recreation Department remains committed to provide the best quality of recreational facilities for public use and enjoyment. The Department reserves the right to bar access for any neglect or abuse.
