K-9 UNIT

In July 2008, two officers completed training with two patrol dogs. "Clif" a German Shepherd and "Hasso" a Belgian Malinios recently graduated with their respective handlers Sgt. William Bontcue and Officer Charles Mackafee. Patrol dogs are used for criminal apprehension, building searches, tracking and evidence recovery.

The canine teams have been used successfully in numerous situations and have been a tremendous asset to Vineland and neighboring communities. For more information or to request demonstrations from the K-9 unit, contact Sgt. Sgt. William Bontcue at 856-297-0429 or at wbontcue@vinelandcity.org
