THIRD PARTY NOTIFICATION APPLICATION

 

 

                 Vineland Municipal Utilities is engaged in a program called Third Party Notification.  This program notifies property owners, or other concerned parties, of the possibility of discontinuance of service due to non-payment of past-due utility bills.  This program is especially beneficial to the elderly who, through no fault of their own, may forget to pay their bills.

 

             Third Party Notification is a duplication of the notice that is sent to the customer of record.  This duplicate notice is intended to make those interested parties aware of delinquency which could lead to disconnection of service.  Please note:  Property owners will assume responsibility for any unpaid balance accrued by tenants.  This amount will become a lien on the property if left unpaid.  For this reason, all property owners are encouraged to participate in this program.
