VINELAND: City's largest solar field focal point of new Web site

VINELAND - Tipton Communications announced today the official launch of a Web site dedicated to Vineland Solar One, the new solar field at Landis Sewerage Authority.

City, county and state officials cut a ribbon for the first 2.3-megawatt phase of what will be a 4.1-megawatt solar field. Work on the second phase begins next year.

When it's complete, the project will be the largest wholesale solar power system in the state.

The Web site includes a virtual tour, details on the project and pictures of the progress of the first phase.
